Ken Bell is the incumbent Port of Bellingham Commissioner for District 2, having first been elected in 2016. He has over 36 years of experience in the waste, recycling, and cleanup industries. Bell is the president of Best Recycling, a waste management company, and CEO of the Iron Creek Group, which specializes in cleaning up contaminated soils. He has served as a Whatcom County planning commissioner and a Whatcom County charter review commissioner. He and his wife, DeeDee, live in Bellingham and have two daughters.
