Kenneth Wade Fredette is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Maine's District 33, encompassing Dixmont, Etna, Newport, Plymouth, and Corinna. An attorney by occupation and a Colonel in the Maine Air National Guard, he holds degrees from Harvard and the University of Maine School of Law. Fredette is married to Jennifer, has three children, and one grandchild. He has served multiple terms in the House of Representatives and currently sits on the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. Fredette is running for re-election in the 2026 primary and has actively worked on issues such as transportation infrastructure, securing funding to save the Newport Courthouse, and addressing regional EMS public safety concerns.
