    Supports

Honan says his priorities for the final year of the legislative session include improving housing governance and increasing housing production as affordability pressures grow. He supports the 'Yes in my back yard' (YIMBY) bill to make it easier to build multifamily housing and allow housing on underused land, arguing that zoning reform and multifamily housing are needed to address the state's housing shortage.

When you're trying to create more housing, you need zoning reform. You need multifamily housing to address the housing shortage that we're experiencing in Massachusetts.
