Kevin Horneman

Kevin Horneman, a Bismarck resident for 18 years, is seeking the Democratic-NPL Party’s endorsement for North Dakota State Senate District 7 in 2026. He is motivated to stand up for "regular people," addressing low wages and lack of benefits. His key issues include food safety, protecting the 2nd Amendment, and enhancing post-secondary education. Horneman proposes state incentives for CDL drivers, diesel mechanics, and healthcare workers, particularly with a rural service commitment. A retired journeyman electrician and 40-year IBEW member, he now owns and operates a certified organic farm with his wife Nancy, and is licensed in real estate and insurance.
