Kimberly "Kim" Coggins Poteet is the current Clerk of Superior Court for Jackson County. She has had a 35-year career in the Western North Carolina court system. Before being elected Clerk, she worked for many years as a probation officer and served as the judicial services coordinator with the probation office for the 30th Judicial District. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Western Carolina University with a degree in criminal justice.
