Kirk Haston

Kirk Haston serves as an incumbent Republican State Representative for Tennessee's House District 72. Born in 1979, he holds degrees from Indiana and Cumberland Universities and previously worked as a School Health Coordinator. He is married to Kasey and they have three children. As Chairman of the K-12 Subcommittee and a member of the Education, Higher Education, and Commerce Committees, Haston focuses on education, including career and technical support, high school graduation, and early learning. He has also championed legislation like the "Regulatory Freedom Act of 2026" and supports rural school districts and critical access hospitals. He is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary.
