Kurt H Maier is a supercomputing engineer and manager at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He is a veteran of the United States Army. His previous work experience includes roles at Google, IBM, and the University of Maryland, and he has worked as a telephone repairman, auto mechanic, and professional cook. Maier holds a Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. He previously served on the Richland Public Library Board of Trustees from 2017 to 2022. He lives in North Richland with his wife and two children.
