Kyle Brown is a candidate for Representative in the General Assembly District 12 in Colorado State House District 12, Colorado — 2026 Primary Election.

Kyle Brown, a native Coloradan, moved to House District 12 at age one and has lived there for over 25 years. He earned a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a doctorate in genetics from Harvard University. Brown was sworn into the Colorado General Assembly as a State Representative on February 1, 2023, after receiving over 80 percent of the vote in a vacancy committee. Prior to this, he served on the Louisville City Council from 2020. His career has been devoted to public service, including senior roles in two Colorado governors' administrations and as an advisor to two U.S. senators, where he advocated for affordable quality health care. He also served as Deputy Commissioner at the Colorado Division of Insurance. Brown is running for re-election with a focus on climate action, affordable housing, Marshall fire recovery, and health care. He also works to end TABOR and direct future TABOR refunds toward education. He represents District 12, which includes Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, and parts of Boulder and Longmont.
