Kyle Hall was born and raised in Stokes County, North Carolina, and is the son of two public school educators. He attended community college before earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. Prior to his legislative career, he served as the Communications Director for U.S. Congressman Mark Walker. Hall was first appointed to the North Carolina House of Representatives on November 23, 2015. He is also a licensed real estate broker. In the legislature, he serves as a Senior Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and Chairman of the House Energy and Public Utilities Committee.
