Kym Taylor, a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, represents Legislative District 23 in Prince George's County. She was sworn into office on January 11, 2023. Born in Washington, D.C., on March 7, 1964, Taylor attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University and an MBA from Atlanta University. Her professional experience spans both public service and the private sector. Since 1996, she has been the owner and Vice-President of Family Choice Healthcare. Before her election to the House, she worked as a legislative aide for State Senator Paul G. Pinsky. In the legislature, she serves on the Judiciary Committee.
