Lana Kim is an incumbent Judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, having been elected in March 2020 and assuming office in January 2021. Prior to her election to the bench, she served as a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office for 15 years, from 2005 to 2020. During her time as a prosecutor, she specialized in sex crimes and family violence before moving to the Major Fraud Division. Before attending law school, she worked for former California Governor Gray Davis for three and a half years. She earned her law degree from Whittier College and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2004.
