Larae Smith

Larae Smith has been a member of the Commercial Township Board of Education since 2007. She works as a Social Service Coordinator for United Methodist Communities in Ocean City, New Jersey. Smith holds a Certificate of Achievement from Atlantic Cape Community College's Self-Employment Assistance Program. She is also the Chair of the Land Use Board and the Democratic Party for Commercial Township. In January 2025, she was appointed as the NJSBA Legislative Delegate. She has been recognized with the Outstanding Women of Cumberland County Certificate of Commendation.
