Larry Goff has a 47-year career in fire service, starting as a seasonal wildland firefighter and rising through the ranks to become Fire Chief for the City of Lake Oswego Fire Department in Oregon. He also served for 24 years on the Board of Directors for Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, Oregon's largest fire district, where he held the position of president multiple times. He earned an A.S. in Fire Protection Technology from Portland Community College and attended the Fire Administrators Institute at Eastern Oregon University. After moving to Coupeville in 2009, he has been involved in the community as a volunteer at the Coupeville Visitors Center and a member of the Island County Amateur Radio Club.
