Larry Otos was appointed to the Mount Vernon School District Board in 2012 and was subsequently reelected. He is the current Board President. Otos holds a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University. He retired as the Director from the City of Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation Department after 30 years of public service and is the owner of The Otos Group, LLC. He is active in the community, holding leadership roles in several philanthropic organizations.
