La'Tasha D. Mayes is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 24 since 2022. She is the first openly lesbian woman to serve in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Mayes earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Before her election, she spent 18 years as the founder, president, and CEO of New Voices for Reproductive Justice.
