Latasha Palmer is a lifelong resident of Tacoma, a community organizer, and a small business owner. She served on the Tacoma Charter Review Committee, where she advocated for a Climate Accountability and Sustainability Commission. Her academic background includes an Associate degree from Bates Technical College in 2004 and a Bachelor's degree in environmental sustainability from Columbia University in 2023. She is a founding board member for the Aya Community Land Trust and a board member for the Hilltop Action Coalition.
