Laura Belvin

Laura Belvin was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in January 2020 and subsequently elected to the position. She is a professional engineer with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, focusing on hydraulics and hydrology, as well as a Master of Public Administration. Belvin has been active in the Federal Way community for over 34 years, previously serving as the chair of the Federal Way Parks Commission and participating in various non-profit organizations. She and her husband have raised six children in the area.
