Laura Conway is a parent of three students in the Wayzata School District. She grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota, and graduated from Mounds View High School. Conway earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 2006 and a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University in 2011. Her career began as a city prosecutor in Texas, and she later practiced civil litigation before helping to build a large nonprofit animal rescue in north Texas. She moved back to Minnesota in 2021.
