She previously served two terms as Sandoval County Treasurer, becoming one of the state's youngest elected officials. Her career spans over two decades in federal, state, tribal, and county governments, including work for U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NM, she holds master's and bachelor's degrees. She advocates for financial literacy as a graduation requirement, Baby Bonds, and NM STABLE Accounts, aiming to empower communities, bridge the wealth divide, and build an inclusive economy for all New Mexicans.
