Laura Marie Rivera

Laura Marie Rivera is an educator, artist, advocate, and a mother of four Seattle Public School students. She is the only educator in her race, with direct classroom experience in various settings, including overcrowded schools, arts and tech programs, and special education. Her background includes teaching, working with multilingual programs, and advocating for students furthest from educational justice.
