Originally from Olympia, she has been a resident of Bucoda for two years, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Wilson has expressed a long-standing aspiration to serve in local government. In addition to her council duties, she is the president of the Bucoda Improvement Club (BIC), where she is involved in community enhancement projects like park restorations.
