Where does Lauren Boebert stand on the issues?

Lauren Boebert has a recorded position on three issues. Each is Civoren's summary of the campaign's own public material, with the source linked.

  • Energy

    Supports

Boebert supports an 'all-of-the-above' energy strategy - oil, gas, coal, nuclear, hydropower, solar, wind and geothermal - with fossil fuels as the backbone of American energy security, and works to reverse federal restrictions on oil and gas to promote American energy dominance.

I believe in unleashing America's God-given resources to create jobs, lower energy costs, and strengthen our economy. My all-of-the-above energy strategy supports oil, gas, coal, nuclear, hydropower, solar, wind, and geothermal, but I know fossil fuels-produced cleaner here than anywhere else-are the backbone of our energy security.

  • Gun Policy & Second Amendment

    Supports

Boebert unapologetically supports the Second Amendment and opposes gun control; she co-chairs the Congressional Second Amendment Caucus and has introduced legislation to repeal gun-control provisions and abolish the ATF.

I unapologetically support the Second Amendment. No amount of gun control will ever eliminate evil in our society, and unsurprisingly, the data has shown time and again that gun control does not decrease gun violence.

  • Immigration

    Supports

Boebert supports strict border enforcement and immigration restriction: she authored the Build the Wall and Deport Them All Act, supports ending catch-and-release and sanctuary cities, restoring the Remain in Mexico policy, ending birthright citizenship, and classifying fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction.

I authored and introduced the Build the Wall and Deport Them All Act to stop the invasion taking place at our southern border. This legislation will end catch and release, end sanctuary cities, expedite the removal of illegal aliens, restore the Remain in Mexico policy, end birthright citizenship, and build the wall once and for all.
