Lauren Cahill grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. After college, she worked for theaters and festivals in the Northeast before returning to Wilmington, where she worked as a grants manager and fundraiser in the nonprofit sector. She moved to Lake Stevens in 2019. Her two daughters attend schools in the Lake Stevens School District. She currently works for the YMCA of Snohomish County in financial development and accounting and volunteers with various community groups, including the PTA and Friends of the Lake Stevens Library.
