Leah Britt Lanier is a District Court Judge in Robeson County, North Carolina. A native of Lumberton, she earned her undergraduate degree in political science from Campbell University and her law degree from Elon University School of Law in 2017. After law school, she returned to her home county to work as a prosecutor in the district attorney's office. In 2022, she was elected to the District Court bench. As a judge, she oversees the Recovery Court of Robeson County, which includes DWI Treatment Court, Adult Drug Treatment Court, and Family Drug Treatment Court, focusing on helping individuals with substance abuse issues.
