Leah Howell

Leah Howell is an American politician serving as a Republican in the Kansas House of Representatives for the 82nd district. She assumed this office in January 2023, following a previous term representing the 81st district as a temporary replacement. Howell is a white legislator, married with five children. She is involved in numerous House committees including Health and Human Services, Transportation and Public Safety Budget, and Federal and State Affairs. Her legislative work also extends to committees focused on homelessness, governmental ethics reform, campaign finance law, available and affordable housing, and child welfare system oversight.
