Leanne Gandy

Leanne Gandy is a lifelong southeastern New Mexico resident, rancher, and educator running for the New Mexico House of Representatives District 66. A conservative leader, she was raised on a ranch, instilling values of hard work and respect for the Second Amendment. She holds a Master of Education and has a background in classroom instruction, executive leadership, and policy. Gandy advocates for reducing regulations to lower living costs, protecting energy jobs and water rights for farmers, and improving education through local control and workforce training. She believes her experience in ranching, education, and the oil and gas industry prepares her to be a strong voice for her community, addressing rising costs, educational challenges, and threats to local industries.
