A longtime Florida resident with over 20 years of experience in the property management and real estate industries, he has served on multiple advisory boards, including the Sarasota County Historical Commission and the Citizen Tax Oversight Committee. Nichols previously ran for the Sarasota County Commission and the Sarasota County Charter Review Board.
