A homemaker and former executive office administrator, she was raised by an educator and a carpenter, instilling values of hard work and integrity. She is passionate about supporting public education, ensuring equality, and fighting for fair pay and healthcare for all. Silva believes current leadership is divisive and prioritizes political interests over community-specific needs. She is running to champion hard-working Idahoans, bridge divides, and prioritize people over profit. She first ran in 2024, prompted by concerns that lawmakers were undermining community values.
