Linda Featherston

Linda Featherston is an incumbent Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives, elected in 2020 from the 16th district. A lifelong Kansan residing in Johnson County since 1999, she is a product of Kansas public schools, holding music degrees from Kansas State University. Her legislative achievements include increasing penalties for attacking healthcare workers and extending protection from abuse orders (2023), and expanding diagnostic mammogram coverage for state employees (2024), which she aims to extend to all Kansans.
