Lisa Anderl was first appointed to the City Council in December 2018 and was subsequently elected in 2019 and 2021. She has been a resident of Mercer Island for over 25 years. She holds an undergraduate degree and a law degree from Gonzaga University. Prior to retiring, she worked as an attorney for the state of Washington and as in-house regulatory counsel for Lumen (formerly CenturyLink).
