Lisa Stirgus was appointed to the Auburn City Council in April 2025 to fill a vacated seat. She has over two decades of leadership experience in financial services and nonprofit work, having worked her way up from a bank teller to a senior executive. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Originally from Reno, Nevada, she moved to Washington in 2013 and settled in Auburn in 2018. She serves on the Green River College Foundation Board and co-chairs the Youth Justice Subcommittee of the King County Children and Youth Advisory Board.
