Liyah Babayan

Liyah Babayan is an Independent candidate for Idaho House of Representatives, District 25B, running in the 2026 general election. A resident of Twin Falls County and a refugee, Babayan is an entrepreneur who founded Ooh La La Boutique and MAKEPEACE, an organic skincare line. She has a background in healthcare and community advocacy, serving as a Twin Falls School Board Trustee and on various city commissions. This marks her latest run for State Representative, having previously run in 2022. Her key policy positions include expanding access to affordable healthcare, including maternal and reproductive care, increasing public education funding, and promoting economic development in south-central Idaho. She is motivated by a passion to give back to her adoptive country.
