Liz Conmy was a Democratic-NPL politician who represented North Dakota's 11th district in the State House of Representatives. Born in Langdon, North Dakota, in 1958, she held degrees from North Dakota State University and the University of St. Thomas. She served in the House from December 2022 until her untimely death in April 2026. Known for her ability to build consensus across the political spectrum and her dedication to public service, Conmy was seeking re-election for the North Dakota House of Representatives in the 2026 primary election. She passed away in a plane accident prior to the primary, though she remained on the ballot.
