Lloyd Williams

Lloyd Williams was born and raised in Hyde County, North Carolina. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill and Beaufort County Community College before earning a Criminal Justice degree from East Carolina University. He received his law degree from Campbell University and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2004. Williams has over 20 years of legal experience, starting his career at the Pitt County Public Defender's Office. He has spent 19 years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Second Prosecutorial District, where he has handled tens of thousands of cases. He currently serves as the Lead Prosecutor for the Recovery Treatment Court and is a Past President of the Second Judicial District Bar.
