Lois Frankel is an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 22nd congressional district [1.5]. A member of the Democratic Party, she was first elected to Congress in 2012. Frankel has championed seniors, veterans, and women's reproductive freedom. Prior to her time in Congress, she served 14 years in the Florida House of Representatives, where she was the first female Democratic minority leader, and as Mayor of West Palm Beach for two terms.
