Loranne Ausley is a sixth-generation Floridian and an attorney. She served in the Florida House of Representatives for 12 years and the Florida Senate for two years. Her legislative work focused on being an advocate for children, expanding rural broadband, and supporting rural counties. Ausley earned her bachelor's degree from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and a J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law. She has been actively involved in various community organizations, including co-chairing the South City Foundation and chairing Whole Child Leon.
