Lori M. Streeter has worked at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and House of Corrections since 1985, rising from Correctional Officer to Superintendent and Special Sheriff in 2014. She was appointed Franklin County Sheriff by Governor Maura Healey upon the retirement of Christopher Donelan. Throughout her tenure she has prioritized substance use disorder and mental health treatment, supported the establishment of the Franklin County Community Justice and Re-Entry Center, and managed the on-site Re-Entry Program. She graduated from Westfield State College with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Social Work, and lives in Greenfield with her wife, Maggie.
