Lori Mccann

Lori McCann is a Republican state representative from Lewiston, Idaho, currently serving District 6 Seat A in the Idaho House of Representatives since 2021. A lifelong educator and advocate, she's a University of Idaho graduate and former professor, also managing family businesses including a ranch and real estate. McCann is running for the Idaho State Senate District 6 seat in 2026, challenging incumbent Sen. Dan Foreman in the Republican primary. Her campaign focuses on stronger education funding, water infrastructure, economic stability in Northern Idaho, property tax relief, and supporting agriculture. She advocates for public education, workforce development, and streamlining regulations for small businesses. She will not seek re-election to her House seat.
