Lori Oviatt

Lori Oviatt was first appointed to the Riverview Board of Directors on April 25, 2006, and was subsequently re-elected in 2007, 2013, and 2017. She has been an active volunteer in the district since 1994. Oviatt earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University. She previously taught second grade in Iowa and has worked at Microsoft for over 20 years as a learning designer and also works as a learning consultant for nonprofit agencies. She and her husband have a blended family of five children, three of whom graduated from Cedarcrest High School.
