Lou H. Taylor is a Republican candidate running for County Commissioner in Commissioner District 6 of Worcester County, Maryland. A dedicated public servant, Taylor retired as the Superintendent of Worcester County Public Schools in June 2025, concluding a distinguished 41-year career in the district. He previously served as the principal of Stephen Decatur High School for 17 years, earning the 1998–1999 Maryland Principal of the Year award. Beyond education, Taylor is an entrepreneur who has served on the Worcester County Board of Zoning Appeals and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Atlantic General Hospital.
