Lucien J.b. Daigle

Lucien Daigle is an incumbent State Representative for Maine's District 1, having assumed office in December 2024 and serving his first term. A lifelong resident of Fort Kent, he brings over forty years of experience as a dentist, holding a B.S. from the University of Maine and a DMD from Tufts University. Daigle is married to Cheryl, with one daughter and three grandchildren, and is active in community organizations like the Lions Club and as Director of Ski Patrol at Lonesome Pine Trails. As a Republican, he advocates for protecting agriculture and forestry, lowering energy costs, fully funding rural hospitals, and reducing the tax burden by eliminating waste. He is currently a candidate for the Maine State Senate in the 2026 primary election for District 1.
