Lydia Hernandez

Lydia Hernandez is a Democratic politician currently serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for District 24, a position she has held since January 2023 and for which she is seeking re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary. She previously served in the Arizona House representing the 29th district from 2013 to 2015. Hernandez has a long history of public service on the Cartwright Elementary School District Board, where she has been an elected member since 2004 and currently serves as Governing Board President. She earned a BA from Baylor University. Her career demonstrates a commitment to both state legislative and local educational governance.
