Lynne Bissette Greene

Lynne Bissette Greene is a business leader with deep roots in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After graduating from E.E. Smith High School, she attended Peace College and North Carolina State University, earning a B.A. in Sociology & Criminal Justice. She began her career as a Deputy Clerk of Court in the Child Support Enforcement Division in Cumberland County. In 1991, she joined her family's business, Highland Lumber Co., Inc., and became its president in 2010. She is also a developer at Braxton Village Developers LLC. Greene has a long history of community involvement, serving on numerous boards, including the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation Board and as a PWC Commissioner. She was elected to the Fayetteville City Council for District 5 in November 2023.
