Madeline Cardona has proudly called Tompkins County home since 2019. A devoted mother of two teenagers currently attending Ithaca High School, Madeline brings with her a deep-rooted sense of community, shaped by her upbringing in Puerto Rico. Raised in a culture that emphasizes collective strength, pride, and mutual accountability, she believes in the power of uplifting one another while also holding each other to high standards of integrity and excellence.At the age of 16, Madeline moved from Puerto Rico to Pennsylvania, where she began her journey in the customer service industry—a field she has dedicated her entire career to. With a strong passion for helping others feel seen, heard, and supported, she has consistently focused on creating positive experiences by offering thoughtful solutions and compassionate service.As a single Latina mother, Madeline takes great pride in instilling in her children the values of self-advocacy and empathy for those who may lack the support systems they deserve. Her commitment to community engagement is evident through her involvement with organizations like the Village at Ithaca, a vital resource for students and families. Additionally, she has contributed to the local infrastructure by working with TCAT, providing essential transportation for individuals commuting to school, work, and medical appointments.Madeline Cardona believes that strong communities are built on accountability, support, and shared responsibility.
