Madison Cawthorn is a former U.S. Representative who served North Carolina's 11th district from 2021 to 2023. At age 25, he became the youngest member of Congress elected since 1964. Following a defeat in the 2022 Republican primary, Cawthorn relocated to Cape Coral, Florida. In October 2025, he announced his candidacy for Florida's 19th Congressional District, running to succeed Rep. Byron Donalds. He campaigns on an America First platform, advocating for border security and gun rights.
