Maggie Alix is a Democratic politician currently serving as an Albany County Legislator for District 16. Appointed to the legislature in December 2024 and elected in 2025, Alix has over 20 years of local government experience. She has spent much of her career serving the Village of Green Island, holding roles such as Director of Parks and Recreation, Sole Appointed Assessor, and Executive Assistant to the Mayor. She also serves as CEO of the Green Island Industrial Development Agency.
