Maggy Krell is an American lawyer and politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly representing District 6. A Democrat, she assumed office in December 2024. Krell previously served as a Deputy Attorney General for the California Department of Justice, where she led the state's Special Prosecution Unit and handled human trafficking and organized crime cases. She also worked as Chief Legal Counsel for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California. She earned her JD from UC Davis.
