Mahesh Ganorkar, also known as Max, earned an M.B.A. His professional background includes working on joint ventures between U.S. and Indian companies and designing homes. He later chose to become a stay-at-home dad after the birth of his first child. Ganorkar previously ran for the same seat in the 2024 Republican primary, where he was defeated by Eric Blankenburg. He also ran in the Republican primary for U.S. House North Carolina District 2 in 2022.
