Marc Korman, a Democrat, has served as the representative for Legislative District 16 in the Maryland House of Delegates since his election in 2015. A native of Montgomery County, Korman is a product of its public school system. His higher education includes a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California, a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. Before his tenure in the House of Delegates, Korman's professional experience included working as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill and practicing law. Within the House, he has held significant leadership roles, previously serving as House Majority Leader and currently as the Chair of the Environment and Transportation Committee.
