Marco Erickson

Marco Erickson is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Idaho House District 33B, serving a portion of Idaho Falls. A mental health professional and coalition program director, he is vice chair of the House Health and Welfare Committee. Currently serving his third term and seeking a fourth, Erickson advocates for evidence-based education funding, especially for special education, and has been effective in mental health and child/family service legislative efforts. As a conservative Republican, he emphasizes representing taxpayers, highlighting six years of tax cuts, and seeks common ground in the legislature. Erickson believes marriage is a sacred bond and voted to overturn the Obergefell v. Hodges ruling to protect religious leaders' rights.
